Membership cards
There are four different membership cards currently available:
- LeedsCard - £15 per year. Available to all people aged 19 to 59 inclusive
- LeedsCard Extra* - £5 per year. Available to Leeds residents in receipt of certain income or disability related benefits
- LeedsCard 60* - £15 per year. Available to all people aged 60 or over
- LeedsCard 60 Extra* - £5 per year. Available to all Leeds residents aged 60 and over in receipt of certain income or disability related benefits
Apply for a LeedsCard online
You can apply for a LeedsCard online, or visit a leisure centre.
To apply online, select any leisure centre, adult membership and annual duration tosee the LeedsCard option.
Renew your LeedsCard online

Renew your LeedsCard onlineLeedsCard Extra or LeedsCard 60
If you are applying for a LeedsCard Extra or LeedsCard 60 you still need to apply at any of our leisure centres as you will need to bring proof of address, age or benefit.
LeedsCard Extra eligibility and proof
You are eligible for LeedsCard Extra if you claim any of the following benefits:
- Working Tax Credit
- Pension Credit
- Income Support
- ESA or Incapacity Benefit
- Disability Living Allowance (Person Independence Payment) or are a parent or carer whose child is in receipt of Disability Living Allowance
- Carer's Allowance
- Attendance Allowance
- Universal Credit (excluding Child Tax)
- Housing Benefit
- Council Tax Support
- Free School Meals or Clothing vouchers
- Blue Badge
- Blind or Disabled Person's Travel Pass
When applying for a LeedsCard Extra, you will need to show:
- Your latest award notice, benefits letter, Blue Badge, or Blind or Disabled Person's Travel Pass
- Proof of address
- A recent bank statement showing the benefit paid in
If you receive Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, Free School Meal, Clothing vouchers, Blue Badge, or Blind or Disabled Person's Travel Pass you will only need to show the first 2 proofs.
If you apply at your local leisure centre you will be issued with your card straight away.
Keep your LeedsCard with you as you will need to show it to staff to claim your discount or special offer. If you are booking by telephone, please have your LeedsCard number ready.
Lost or replacement cards
If you have lost your card and need a replacement you will need to go to a council leisure centre and pay the £2 replacement fee.
