People over the age of 60 can apply for retirement LIFE housing for extra support. Some homes are also available to people under the age of 60 who have a recommendation for retirement LIFE.

There are four supported retirement LIFE developments in Belle Isle for older people over the age of 60.
These are run by the Belle Isle Tenant Management Organisation.
The housing schemes have two full time support assistants to support residents between 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
